    "​​SAR" offers 46 project opportunities for contractors, worth 1.3 billion riyals, in the Asharqia Chamber​

    The Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Contracting Committee, organized a meeting that reviewed the most prominent future projects of the Saudi Railway Company (SAR) and the investment opportunities available for the contracting sector, at the headquarters on Monday, June 19, 2023.

    The Vice President for Shared Services, Eng. Salah bin Abdullah Al-Omair confirmed that the company is keen to provide all support to the business sector, which is a major partner in the implementation of the company's projects and plans, based on our vision that reflects leadership in providing transport solutions and logistics services and the first choices for customers, employees, and investors.

    Al-Omair said during the meeting, which was moderated by the Vice-Chairman of the Chamber's Contracting Committee, Eng. Dhari bin Abdul Rahman Al-Attishan, the company is proceeding according to a clear message that emphasizes serving the community and customers by providing safe, sustainable, and technologically advanced transportation solutions, creating value for shareholders, and the company is proceeding with its projects to achieve several goals. They are: Achieving higher value for shareholders, in addition to supporting local companies, increasing local content, reducing accidents and carbon emissions, providing distinguished service that satisfies our customers, attracting and maintaining distinguished competencies and experiences in the Kingdom, and developing the railway infrastructure to be the best in the Kingdom.​

    ​The meeting reviewed the company's upcoming projects and promising investment opportunities, as the meeting presented 46 investment opportunities, with a value of up to 1.3 billion riyals, which varied between contracting and infrastructure services (25 projects), maintenance projects (7 projects), advisory and development services (11 projects), and projects Signals and Control (3 projects).​​

    Al-Ottishan said that the contracting sector looks with interest at the various development projects that are being implemented in various regions of the Kingdom, indicating that the sector, with its large size, can absorb projects, no matter how large they are, stressing that the Saudi Railway Company (SAR) continues to support the sector's march to implement its projects. With high quality and standards, keeping pace with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.​
